“ Phenomenal steak and cheese. I have not tried other items yet but have had the steak and cheese about a half dozen times. The horchata is also delicious. I've heard other customers rave about the food while I've been there. I look forward to trying other items from their menu. ”

“ This is a small hole in the wall. We almost left, but the name drew us in and to our surprise it was amazing food and service. The hole vibe, but it’s small. Come see them so they can grow and grow the atmosphere. We also LOVED that they play KLUV GOD IS HERE SO COME VISIT. ”

“ The place is relatively small with limited seats and understandably limited servers. It takes a bit longer for your food but it’s acceptable. Food is very good. I got plato tipico: 2 eggs, avocado, fried beans, bread and plaintain. The plaintain is perfectly done. All in all, this is a nice little gem in the area if you are looking for quiet bfast/lunch diner. ”

“ I've been going to this spot since it opened so this gushing review is long overdue. The food is amazing but can't express enough how good the value is. Where else can you get a hand made sandwich with fries for $10-$13 in this area? My favorite is the turkey club, it's three layers and absolutely bursting with veggies, bacon, meat, and cheese, and their fries are among the best I've ever had. The breakfast burrito is another gem: stuffed with peppers, onions, egg, potato, bacon (they have other meats and meat-free versions), and cheese. Super filling and only $7. I truly cannot think of a better bang for your buck spot in Nova. The ingredients are always fresh and high quality and they have constantly rotating specials in addition to the menu staples. None of that mushy Subway BS or processed Panera crap that has you wondering how you spent 20 bucks on a painfully mediocre lunch. Also, the staff are just SO nice. They are always friendly and accommodating, never had anything but a positive experience interacting with the folks who work here. I highly recommend Grandmas to anyone who likes great food for suspiciously low prices! A wonderful local business that I always bring visiting friends and family to experience. ”

“ Good home cooking by and with Grandma's recipes. The Roast pork loin with BBQ was just right. Tender pork, light BBQ gravy and nice vegetables. A refreshing change from chain restaurant fayres. JC was particularly friendly, attentive and helpful, patiently explaining unfamiliar dishes/ingredients. The pumpkin pie was not too sweet with nice spices. Highly recommended. ”

“ I ordered via Uber Eats. The food was ready within 25 minutes. The food was good. My favorite dish was the pupusa. The plantains, steak, and the rice and beans were also good. The pineapple cake was alright. Overall, I'd recommend Grandma's. It's a nice spot. ”

“ I searched Google for a coffee shop here on Richmond Hwy close to Mount Vernon area. On first visit the egg and bacon breakfast sandwich was great. Coffee is good and hot. Service was excellent and place seems clean. They got pancakes here too for my future visit! ”
